My son gave me, as a Christmas gift, an ipad keyboard dock. I think this will actually help my typing a bit because the keys are ‘chicklet’ so I don’t have to raise my fingers as high. I’m hoping that with this I can get my novel finished in a fairly quick time.

I’m also thinking of taking part in Art House Co-op Fiction Project. My friend, Sarah, turned me on to it and it sounds interesting. The Project sends you a Moleskine cahier notebook and you fill it up with writing, send it back, and then it goes on a nation-wide tour. You can even keep track of where it is and how many times it has been ‘taken out’ and read. Looks like things will be changing in the new year for me, writing-wise.

(I should mention that my son is 16 months old and that it was probably my wife that bought it for me. But he may have bought it on his own. He’s cool like that.)
